Getting started

Create your account

Sign up, what we ask for, and what lands in your account on day one.

Signing up takes three fields and no payment details. Every new account gets $1.00 of credit, which is enough for roughly three real generations; that is deliberately enough to judge the product rather than just watch a demo.

Creating the account

    Open the sign-up page

    Go to /register, or press Sign up in the top-right corner of the marketing site.

    Fill in your name, email and password

    Your password needs at least 8 characters and at most 128. Use an address you can read right now; the next step sends a code to it.

    Press Create account

    Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy first; the checkbox is required. We generate a username from your name automatically, so there is no username field to fight with. If the generated one is already taken, we quietly try another.

    Verify your email

    You land on the verification screen with a six-digit code already on its way. See Verify your email.

What lands in your account

Tip

You do not need a plan to try project mode, agent mode, VHDL output or any of the tools. A free account can run all of them until the credit is gone.

Google and GitHub sign-in

If this host has Google or GitHub sign-in configured, those buttons appear on the sign-up and log-in pages. Pressing one sends you to that provider; coming back, a first-time account still has to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before it is created. Signing in with Google is not the same as agreeing to ours.

The provider must share a verified email. Unverified provider emails are refused, and we will not create an account from them. If an account already exists for that address, the provider is linked to it rather than opening a second one. An account created this way has no password until you set one, so the email/password form will tell you to continue with Google or GitHub instead.

Microsoft sign-in is not offered yet. The VS Code extension still uses email and a password (or a token from a browser session).

If sign-up will not go through
